Pressure Washing FAQ
Questions homeowners ask us
How much does pressure washing cost in Murfreesboro?
It depends on the surface, the square footage, and how much buildup is on it. A driveway is different from a whole house or a mossy back patio. We come out, look at what needs cleaning, and give you a free written estimate before any work starts. Call or text (615) 266-4109.
What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water and is right for hard surfaces like concrete, brick, and pavers. Soft washing uses low pressure with a cleaning solution and is right for anything that high pressure would damage, like vinyl siding, painted wood, and roofs. We use the correct method for each surface, which is the difference between a clean house and a damaged one.
Will pressure washing damage my siding, brick, or wood?
Not when it is done right. Damage happens when someone uses too much pressure on the wrong surface, etches concrete, drives water behind siding, or splinters wood. We match the pressure and technique to the material, and we soft wash anything that needs it, so you get a clean surface without the harm.
What can you clean?
Driveways, sidewalks, and concrete; house siding and exterior walls; decks, patios, and porches; brick and paver surfaces; and fences. If it is an outdoor surface with dirt, mildew, algae, moss, or stains on it, there is a good chance we can clean it. Tell us what you have.
Are the cleaning solutions safe for my plants and pets?
We take care to protect landscaping, wet down and rinse plants around the work area, and use the right amount of solution for the job. Let us know about any sensitive plantings or pets ahead of time and we will plan around them.
How often should I pressure wash my home?
For most homes in Middle Tennessee, once a year keeps siding, concrete, and decks ahead of the mildew and algae that our humid summers grow. North-facing and shaded surfaces green up faster and may want it more often. A yearly wash also protects the surfaces, so it is cheaper than letting buildup set in.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Usually not, as long as we have access to the areas being cleaned and to an outdoor water spigot. We will confirm the details with you and let you know when we are done.
Are you licensed and insured, and is the work guaranteed?
Yes on both. Champion Property Care is licensed and insured, and our pressure washing work is backed by our 1-year written workmanship warranty. If we missed a spot or something is not right, we come back and make it right.
